On the weekend i am go to have a playdate with Isla at my house. We are go to have fun. We are going to play with my toys. It is not my 99th playdate it is my 100th playdate.
I am a Year 3 student at Paparore School School in Northland, New Zealand. Mrs Davan is my teacher. My blog is a collection of my work at various stages, across different curriculum areas. Throughout my time at Paparore School I may share draft copies of my work for feedback and feed forward. Other times I will share my final published pieces. I would appreciate any feedback through leaving me a positive, thoughtful, helpful comment. Thank you.

National Anthem
National Anthem
E Ihoa Atua o nga iwi matou ra
Ata whakarongona
Me aroha noa
Kia hua ko te pai
Kia tau to atawhai
Manaakitia mai
Aotearoa
God of Nations at thy feet
In the bonds of love we meet
Hear our voices we entreat
God defend our free land.
Guard Pacific’s triple star
From the shafts of strife and war
Make her praises heard afar
God defend New Zealand.

Bang!
Bang!
I get up, I get down and I'm jumping around
And the rumpus and ruckus are comfortable now
Been a hell of a ride but I'm thinking it's time to grow. Bang! Bang! Bang!
So I got an apartment across from the park
Put quinoa in my fridge, still I'm not feeling grown
Been a hell of a ride but I'm thinking it's time to go
Bang! Bang! Bang!
(Here we go)
So put your best face on everybody
Pretend you know this song
Everybody come hang
Let's go out with a bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!
I'm way too young to lie here forever
I'm way too old to try so whatever come hang (come hang)
Let's go out with a bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!
Feel like I'm gonna puke 'cause my taxes are due
Do my password begin with a one or a two?
Been a hell of a ride but I'm thinking it's time to grow. Bang! Bang! Bang!
(Metronome)
Man, I'm up to something
Ooh de la de do, thank you all for coming
I hope you like the show
'Cause it's on a budget
So ooh de la de do
Yeah, come on, here we go
Yeah, come on
Repeat Chorus
Been a hell of a ride but I'm thinking it's time to go. Bang! Bang! Bang!
So put your best face on everybody
Pretend you know this song
Everybody come hang
Let's go out with a bang
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Repeat Chorus
Bang! Bang!

Cover Me In Sunshine
Cover Me In Sunshine
I've been dreaming of friendly faces,
I-I've got so much time to kill
Just imagine people laughing,
I-I know someday we will
And even if it's far away,
Get me through another day.
Cover me in sunshine
Shower me with good times
Tell me that the world's been spinning since the beginning
And everything will be alright
Cover me in sunshine
From a distance all these mountains,
A-are just some tiny hills
Wildflowers, they keep living,
Whi-ile they're just standing still
I've been missing yesterday,
But what if there's a better place?
Repeat Chorus 3x
